Lessons

Every lesson is as unique as each student. I tailor every lesson plan to your goals, interests, and learning style. Week after week, we build on core technical skills—scales, chords, triads, fretboard fluency, and practical music theory—along with sight-reading, improvisation, and a strong repertoire of songs you love.
How much time we spend on each area will vary from lesson to lesson, because everything we work on is designed to support your personal goals and keep you inspired.

For every student, I provide a copy of either Hal Leonard’s Guitar Method, Book 1 or Berklee College of Music’s Modern Method for Guitar, Volume 1, depending on their experience level and comfort with reading music. Along with the method book, I also provide a notebook—where I’ll write detailed lesson notes and practice tips—and a folder to keep any additional materials I print out for you.
